Ísbúð Vesturbæjar Initiates Sale Process
It has been decided to put Ísbúð Vesturbæjar up for sale. The company is one of the most recognized and well-established brands in the Icelandic ice cream market. Ísbúð Vesturbæjar is owned by Kjarnavörur, a subsidiary of Ölgerðin. Ísbúð Vesturbæjar currently operates five retail locations in the capital area and holds over 22% market share in a market that grew by nearly 8% from 2023 to 2024. 100% of the company’s share capital is being offered for sale in the process. Non-binding offers are requested by Friday, February 27, and binding offers by Friday, March 13.
