Sales of Christmas beer begin in the country on Thursday, and on Friday is the so-called J-day. That is when Tuborg Christmas beer starts being poured in the town’s bars at 8:59 PM. As is well known, Tuborg has long been the most popular Christmas beer in the country, and now a new version of it is being introduced.

It is called Tuborg Lille Jul and was developed by the brewers of Ölgerðin. It is lighter than its predecessor and will no doubt be well received by fans of such beers. Regular enthusiasts, however, have no need to worry that the old favorite is being phased out; it’s simply that the Christmas snow falls twice as much this year.
