The recognition is granted by Stjórnvísi, the Iceland Chamber of Commerce, the Confederation of Icelandic Enterprise, and Nasdaq Iceland, according to the announcement. The companies recognized are: Alvotech, Arion banki, Eik fasteignafélag, Fossar fjárfestingarbanki, Heimar, Icelandair Group, Íslandssjóðir, Kvika banki, Orkan IS, Reiknistofa bankanna, Reitir fasteignafélag, Sjóvá, Skagi, Stefnir, VÍS, Vörður tryggingar og Ölgerðin Egill Skallagrímsson.
28. August 2025 Kinnhestur is a new beer from Borg Brewing House Kinnhestur is the name of a new beer from Borg Brugghús. The beer is specially produced for the four-day Njálu Festival in Rangárþing. A Vísir reporter was slaped in the face (kinnhestur) from one of the country's most famous actors on the occasion.

28. August 2025 Borg Brugghús beer in sleek cans Master brewer Árni Long talks about a new packaging for Borg Brewery in an article in Mbl. It was decided to make changes to the bottling line. Previously, certain beers at Borg were sold in 44cl cans but will now be sold in 33cl cans, or so-called sleek cans. This is the same type that people have become accustomed to for soda and caffeinated drinks.

July 2025 Outstanding Ölgerð in Reitun's UFS sustainability assessment Ölgerðin receives an excellent rating in Reitun's sustainability assessment, as the company has undergone a UFS assessment conducted by Reitun since 2021. Ölgerðin received 86 points out of a possible 100 and falls under category A3 along with five other listed companies on the market.

The report states that the carbon footprint of its own operations in scope 1 and 2 has decreased by 80% since 2016. This marks a major step forward in Ölgerðin's climate action and reflects an ambitious sustainability strategy.
