16. May 2025 Ölgerðin hires two marketing managers Elísabet Austmann and Bergsveinn Guðmundsson have taken on new marketing director positions at Ölgerðinn. Elísabet has taken on the position of marketing director for non-alcoholic beverages and Bergsveinn has taken on the position of marketing director for alcoholic beverages.

18. July 2025 Vaka manages COLLAB Vaka Njálsdóttir has been hired by Ölgerðin as the brand manager for COLLAB. Vaka previously worked at Nova in the marketing department and product development, where she worked on a variety of projects related to marketing, digital development, and product offerings.
